Conditions - Notes - Reasons
|| Applying the policy in paragraphs 192, 193, 194 and 196 of the NPPF, and having regarded to the Historic England guidance, the proposed replacement of timber single glazed windows with double glazed UPVC windows, and the replacement of timber doors with GRP composite and aluminium doors would be visually intrusive and cause harm to the character and significance of the Daventry Town Centre Conservation Area, and the setting of the neighbouring Grade II and Grade II* Listed Buildings. The proposal would therefore be contrary to Saved Daventry District Local Plan Policies GN2 (e), EN42(c), Policy BN5 of the Joint Core Strategy, policy ENV7 of the emerging Settlements and Countryside Local Plan (Part 2) for Daventry District, and the Design Guidance detailed in section 9.5 & 9.6 of the Daventry Town Centre Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Plan.
