Reason The proposed development would constitute an incongruous feature to the principle elevation of a historic agricultural building which would not respect its original use, simple linear form or its balance with its adjoining neighbour. Therefore the proposal is considered contrary to paragraphs 127 and 130 of the National Planning Policy Framework (2019), policy S1 of the West Northamptonshire Joint Core Strategy, saved policies GN2, EN19 and EN42 of the Local Plan, Emerging Local Plan policies RA6 and ENV10 and policy WH13 from the West Haddon Neighbourhood Development Plan.
Informative As required by Article 35 of the Town and Country (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015 (as Amended) the following statement applies: In dealing with this planning application the Local Planning Authority have worked with the applicant in a positive and proactive manner with a view to seeking solutions to problems arising in relation to the consideration of this planning application.
